Denise Wade, CNP, received her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Denise is board certified as an Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

She is part of the Clinical Neuroscience Institute's multidisciplinary ALS team.
Denise is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, The International Movement Disorders Society, the Association of Movement Disorder Advanced Practice Providers (AMDAPP), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN).

If I don't get the first appointment of the day I can expect a minimum of 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time to receive treatment. I realize that management wants heavy scheduling, but if I wait 30 minutes, I leave. If I were 30 minutes late for my appointment, it would be too late. The treatment I receive is great, but Premier Health's drive for profits overrides customer service.

The calendar for scheduling appointments for the 2026 year were not available. It would have been nice to schedule my next procedure and not have to wait for a potential phone call from the receptionist.

Denise is a great listener and explainer. While I ended up getting an appointment at the desired time, the process of getting an appointment at this facility is often laborious, such as when we leave one appointment the book for the next appointment time frame isn't open yet, so I have to call later involving a on lengthy hold; or sometimes needing a call back that never comes and by the time I call again, I've missed my desired appointment window.
