I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and the medical assistant asked me to confirm the weight on the scale because of the amount I had gained in the past 5 months. It was uncomfortable for myself as I know I have gained weight with being pregnant. I feel as though the situation could've been handled differently and with a little more courtesy. I have visited since being pregnant so this information should be in my chart. Thanks. This has nothing to do with my provider. She was wonderful.

I had to wait at least 30 min. to see the doctor, however i was advised that there was an emergency and the doctor apologized.

Very helpful staff, was able to schedule a CT Scan a couple of weeks earlier than I expected.

All of the staff was helpful, answered questions willingly and were very pleasant.

Spent the time to listen and decide what to recommend.

She was genuinely concerned

Alison was very thorough and looked through the medical results from another provider that I brought to this appointment. She used one on the previous tests results to help her make the decision that a colonoscopy and also the EGD would be beneficial to diagnose me. She ordered a CBC blood test also to help with diagnoses.

I just want you to know that I had questions and reservations about how to go forward with my care. She took extra time to explain my options and made me comfortable and not rushed. I was a person and not just a number to get through for the day. Really appreciate the information and thoughtfulness. Thank you.

Alison Barkman is a wonderful communicator. She heard my concerns and health history, asked important questions, and explained a course of action to improve my health. She provided multiple opportunities for me to ask questions. She did not rush through my appointment. Alison provides an atmosphere of trust and knowledge, which gave me a high level of confidence toward obtaining a safe colonoscopy.

Positive experience - went over and explained issues/concerns

Most every time I go to an appointment here or elsewhere they ask for paperwork to be filled out with information they already have. Print the form with the information on it, then I can verify and sign if needed

They were all very nice and they were better than the doctor that used to be there.

It's not easy adjusting to a new diagnosis, new doctor & new medication. I feel that I've been welcomed by this practice, & will be well cared for.

At this visit Alison went over test results taken a month previous. Then ordered another blood test for now to compare it to. I called before the appointment and left a message for a nurse asking if I needed to have blood drawn before this appointment for comparison and did not get a response. After seeing the results of this blood draw my results are almost totally normal, these should have been compared during the appointment so we could move forward.

She was very nice, good.

Doctor was very thorough on asking questions and where we would start to find out what is causing my issues.

Good overall experience

Only experience with this office so I cannot compare with any other.

I sat across from a sign for about 30 minutes telling me that if I were 15 minutes late for my appointment, there was no guarantee it wouldn't be rescheduled. I came the requested 15 minutes early. Was checked in immediately. Waited briefly in the waiting room. Was checked into the examining room immediately. After BP, temperature, etc., I was told the Pa would be in within 5-10 minutes. Approximately 30 minutes later, I stepped into the hall to see if I could find someone to make sure they knew I was still waiting. No one available. I stepped into the restroom for a minute. When I came back, PA was there. No explanation for the delay. I don't think waiting would have bothered me so much if I hadn't been seated across from the admonishment sign about rescheduling. I think it would be common courtesy to tell a patient who has been waiting that same 15 minute time segment that the doctor or PA is running a little behind. I'm sure there are many things that might come up to cause a PA or doctor to get behind. I think the waiting patients deserve to know they haven't been forgotten. Respect and courtesy for one another's time goes both ways.

my only issue was how long I sat in the exam room after having my vitals taken. I was told 10-15 minutes, and I think it was more like 35.

Everyone is very helpful and kind and I wish Alison could be my Dr for everything?? She is the sweetest, kindness , helpful Dr I have ever came across!!! Love her!

Made a diagnosis that I was not going to her for and now it is on my record. She is not a professional in this area.

I've gone here for about 25 yrs. so I know this Drs office is very good so I would recommend this Dr. to others never had a problem .

Like how thorough this provider is but not very punctual. It was an hour after my appointment time before I saw her.

Entire staff from reception, MA, to provider and scheduling staff were polite, courteous, and welcoming. I felt heard in my care and respected as a patient. This is a prime example how offices should be run. Could not be happier.

My appointment was at 3 pm so at 2:45 I logged in via the email that I had received. I didn't actually talk to the PA until 330. That was a long time to wait. I thought my appointment was at three and that's when I would be seeing her. But she was so sweet, it was OK. I just didn't understand the process.

Alison is one of the best providers I've had the pleasure of seeing. She is compassionate, one of a kind and I hope this review reminds her of just how much she is appreciated and valued by her patients !

Alison is a wonderful physician. She talked to me as an equal and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I felt she cared about what I said and really listened to me. I didn't feel rushed at all. She gave me all the time I needed to be sure I understood everything and she cared about me as a person.

Really enjoyed my meet and greet! The girls at the desk informative and professional. Alison so kind offered great information and set me up for the "in cases!" I feel I'm in good hands, always trying to stay positive! Thank you all!

I was happy with the visit but I was canceled three times. It made me have to change other Dr appts. That was very frustrating. I hope it improves so others don't have to go through this . It was nerve racking.

Alison and her staff are ALWAYS helpful, thorough and informative !! One of the best, and most intelligent/helpful doctors that I have. And I've had MANY other doctors in the last 30-40 years!! Was also sorry to see Aboud move elsewhere?. I felt the same about him.
