Allison M. Boshart, PT

Allison Boshart, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Englewood, OH. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Dayton in Dayton, OH in 2012. Allison received her Bachelor of Health and Sports Studies- Exercise Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2009.
Allison specializes in neurologic physical therapy and treats patients with Parkinson's disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis (MS). Allison specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and treats patients with urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, overactive bladder, and pelvic organ prolapse. Techniques and treatments may include pelvic floor strength/neuromuscular training, bladder retraining, internal/external manual therapy techniques, pressure control training, and behavior modification.
Allison also specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with gait dysfunction, balance dysfunction, and generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, and postural training.
Since receiving her physical therapy degree in 2012, Allison has worked in both outpatient and home health therapy settings. She has experience in treating a wide array of physical therapy diagnoses, with special interest in the treatment of orthopedic, neurological and women's health/pelvic floor related conditions. Allison has received certification in three Parkinson's Disease based exercise/therapy programs, including Delay the Disease, LSVT BIG, and PWR!. She serves on a team that helped to expand the Premier Health Parkinson's Wellness Program, a group exercise class for those with Parkinson's Disease, to Miami Valley Hospital North in April of 2023, and currently serve as a class instructor. In addition, she received certification to treat on the women's health/pelvic floor therapy team through the Herman & Wallace level 1 course in 2022 and has been able to observe the significant positive impact of utilizing these treatment techniques for this patient population. It is Allison's privilege to participate in the care of those seeking physical therapy services, in order to help patients reach their therapy goals and maximize their overall quality of life.
