Amanda Simpson, PA-C

Amanda Simpson, PA‑C, is a board‑certified physician assistant who provides compassionate, patient‑centered care with a focus on adult medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Amanda completed her medical training at Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, OH and the Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. She began her career in the hospital setting, gaining valuable experience in acute care and learning from a wide range of medical subspecialists. This background continues to shape her thoughtful and adaptable approach to patient care today.

Her clinical interests include acute care medicine, with a particular focus on liver and hepatobiliary conditions. Amanda enjoys the variety and complexity of outpatient medicine, where she helps patients manage diverse disease processes and improve their overall quality of life.

Amanda believes in partnering with her patients rather than treating just the disease. She emphasizes mutual respect, trust, and collaboration, working closely with patients to understand their goals and support informed decision‑making.

In addition to her clinical work, Amanda serves as a clinical preceptor for the University of Dayton’s Master of Physician Assistant Practice program. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as with her dogs.
