Ashlyn C. Difrederico, FNP

Ashlyn Difrederico, FNP, received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Berry College in Rome, GA. Ashlyn is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ashlyn provides comprehensive care for a wide ranges of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery conditions, including Eustachian tube dysfunction, sinusitis, rhinitis, tonsillitis, hearing loss, tinnitus, vocal cord abnormalities, laryngopharyngeal reflux, dysphagia, and epistaxis. Treatments and procedures may include flexible laryngoscopy, rigid nasal endoscopy, nasal chemical cauterization, cerumen removal, and punch biopsies.

Ashlyn's approach to providing care to patients is centered around the whole patient. She believes it is of utmost importance to fully listen to the patient and provide care based on his or her needs and concerns as well as addressing important medical issues. 

Ashlyn has loved the specialty of otolaryngology since she had the opportunity to rotate in an ENT office during her training at Emory University. She enjoys both the procedural and patient interaction aspects of the specialty. Ashlyn loves helping patients with concerns ranging from cerumen impactions to head and neck cancers. Being able to see patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings is also one of the greatest aspects of her job, as she is able to follow patients throughout their hospitalizations and into the ambulatory setting. 

Outside of her professional life, Ashlyn enjoys staying active through exercising/CrossFit®, spending time outdoors at the lake or ocean, and spending time with family.
