Cassandra Steimle, DO is a board‑certified gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Steimle earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. She completed her internal medicine residency at Kettering Health Network in Kettering, OH, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. She is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. Steimle performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy. She approaches patient care by treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. She values building strong relationships with her patients and prioritizes individualized care plans. Dr. Steimle finds gastroenterology especially rewarding, noting that the prevention of colorectal cancer through polyp removal is one of the most meaningful aspects of her practice.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Steimle enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, running and participating in HYROX classes, and reading thrillers and historical fiction.

This location is excellent both the doctor and her team of nurses provided excellent care, were compassionate and thorough. The facility was spotless and worked efficiently. Much better than a location I visited previously.
