Charissa Newton, DNP, CNM earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2007, and Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2016.
Prior to joining the Center for Women's Health and Wellness, she served as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Atrium Medical Center. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Fetal Monitoring.

I have been seeing Charissa Newton throughout my whole pregnancy & it was the best decision I've made. This was my first pregnancy & she made me feel comfortable and confident from start to finish. I had a few bumps in the road through this pregnancy & Charissa was there every step of the way to talk me through all my options. She is amazing at what she does. I will forever be thankful for her. She will always have a special place in my heart for being so supportive & helpful during my pregnancy.
