Chris A. Hegyi, PT

Chris Hegyi, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Troy, OH. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Dayton, OH in 1997. Chris received his Liberal Arts and Sciences and psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, OH in 1995.  He has his Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine.  
Chris specializes in sports and orthopedic physical therapy.  He treats patients with back pain, joint pain, sprains/strains, and fractures as well as those who are post-operative surgery. Techniques and treatments may include cupping, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and aquatics.
Chris specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with gait dysfunction, balance dysfunction, and generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, ergonomic training, gait training, balance training, and postural training.
Chris also specializes in cancer physical therapy and treats patients with fatigue, weakness, or pain that impact fitness and overall well-being. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise.
Chris is also Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Work Capacity Evaluator (CWCE). Chris is the only therapist at Premier Health that performs Functional Capacity Evaluations.
