Cody A Pohlman, PT

Cody Pohlman, PT, DPT, CSCS, is a physical therapist in Beavercreek, OH, specializing in sports rehabilitation and orthopedic care. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton and his Bachelor of Science in Education in Sports Science from Wright State University. Cody is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Cody treats a wide range of sports and orthopedic injuries, including post-operative knee conditions, sprains and strains, ligament and muscle injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. His treatment approach incorporates evidence-based techniques such as dry needling, blood flow restriction training, Isokinetic testing and training, injury prevention strategies, and the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill™ to help patients recover safely and return to the activities they enjoy.

A lifelong athlete, Cody's passion for physical therapy began through his experiences competing in football and track and field. His interest in human performance and injury recovery was further strengthened while working as a rehabilitation technician and strength and conditioning coach during his undergraduate studies.

Throughout his clinical training, Cody gained experience working with athletes at multiple levels of competition, including a rotation with Louisiana State University (LSU) Football. His professional interests include sports rehabilitation, return-to-sport decision-making, performance optimization, and athlete development. Cody is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals, improve performance, and confidently return to their sport, work, and everyday activities.
