Dennis Garlock, PT

Dennis Garlock, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Franklin, OH. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA in 1993.  Dennis received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, plus Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, IA in 1989.  
Dennis specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, postural training, and Kinesio taping.
Dennis specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and treats patients with back pain, sprains/strains, fractures, and joint pain, and those who are post-operative surgery. Techniques and treatments may include cupping, modalities, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and Kinesio taping.
Dennis also specializes in sports physical therapy and treats post-operative knee, shoulder, hip, or ankle surgery patients and those with sprains/strains. Techniques and treatments may include instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), manual therapy, Kinesio taping, cupping, and injury prevention.
Dennis started his career in Iowa where he was a specialist in workman's compensation cases before moving to Ohio and running Middletown Regional Hospital's new clinic in Lebanon. He was involved with local Lebanon civil groups, health events, sports teams, and helped design and open the physical therapy site at the Countryside YMCA.  In 2001, he helped open the Franklin Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Center. He remains active with local events and the Franklin and Carlise High School sports teams. Dennis continues to treat a general physical therapy population of all ages at the Franklin physical therapy site.
