Heather B. Miles, CNP

Heather Miles, FNP-BC, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King University in Bristol, TN. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Heather is a member of the American Headache Society.

Heather sees patients for a variety of neurological conditions, with a particular focus on headache medicine. She evaluates and treats a wide range of headache disorders, including migraines, tension-type headaches, post-traumatic headaches, cluster headaches, and intracranial hypertension. Her expertise includes advanced headache treatments and procedures such as Botox® injections for chronic migraine, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.

Heather believes that headache disorders are complex neurological conditions that require comprehensive evaluation, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing support. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Through open communication and shared decision-making, she empowers patients to take an active role in their health, ensuring every individual feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Since beginning her career in neurology in 2022, Heather quickly recognized the significant impact headache disorders have on patients' quality of life. She has dedicated her neurology training to headache medicine with the goal of helping patients reduce the frequency and severity of their headaches and regain their independence. She finds great fulfillment in seeing patients return to work, spend meaningful time with loved ones, and enjoy the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading and traveling.
