Jacob Oney, PT

Jacob Oney, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist based in Englewood, Ohio, specializing in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Cincinnati in 2025 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sciences there in 2022.

Jacob provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including joint and back pain, sprains and strains, fractures, and post-operative recovery. His treatment approach incorporates evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and postural training to help patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to daily activities.

He also has a strong interest in neurologic physical therapy, particularly working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease. In this area, Jacob focuses on gait training, balance, executive function, and neurological re-education to improve movement, safety, and independence.

Jacob’s passion for physical therapy developed through community involvement and research. He has experience working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease through boxing-based exercise programs and has supported neurodiverse populations. Additionally, he contributed to research on balance impairments in individuals with COPD during his time at the University of Cincinnati.
