Jamie L. Compton, PT

Jamie Compton, PT is a Physical Therapist in Kettering, OH. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH in 2007. Jamie received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH in 2005.

Jamie specializes in vestibular physical therapy and treats patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vertigo, and vestibular migraines. Techniques and treatments may include canalith repositioning, habituation exercises, and balance training. 

Jamie also specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and treats patients with urinary incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum, and pelvic pain. Techniques and treatments may include pelvic floor strength/neuromuscular training, internal/external manual therapy techniques, behavior modification, pressure control training, and bladder retraining.  

Jamie specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, ergonomic training, and balance training.  

She focuses on hands-on rehab as well as education regarding the anatomy of healthy bodies, injury prevention and management and maintaining good body mechanics during everyday activities. 

When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children traveling, playing tennis, and watching her children play sports.
