About The Provider
Jason Massengill, MD, CPE, is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University integrated residency program in Dayton, OH. He went on to complete a fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Massengill is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Massengill has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and academic obstetrics and gynecology. He delivers babies and operates at Miami Valley Hospital.
He treats a wide range of conditions including, but not limited to:
- Menopause symptoms
- Genitourinary symptoms of menopause
- Pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, vaginal prolapse)
- Bladder issues (urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, bladder pain syndrome)
- Fecal incontinence
- Recurrent UTIs
- Hematuria
- Pelvic pain
- Painful intercourse
- Urethra diverticulum
Treatments and procedures may include:
- Prolapse repairs (vaginal and laparoscopic colpopexy, colpocleisis, vaginal repairs)
- Incontinence surgery (slings, grafts)
- Cystoscopy
- Bladder Botox injections
- Sacral neuromodulation
- Urethral surgery
- Mesh excisions
- Sling revisions
Dr. Massengill's goal is to make the quality of life better for patients using medicine, surgery, and other therapies. He is honored to treat patients and improve their quality of life, all while teaching medical students and residents to be the future providers for his family and their families.
Dr. Massengill is a Associate Professor of OB/GYN at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Read his publications. He is a fellow member and elected officer of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a certifying examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
He has been awarded with the following:

- 2021 - Physician Role Model Award
- 2018 - USAF Physician Educator of the Year
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Massengill enjoys the "boy life" with his four sons involved in band, soccer, swimming and scouts. He also enjoys outdoor activities like water skiing, boating, and camping.

Overall staff was amazing. My kids were wild. And they still treated me with respect and dignity. Special shout out to the students. They were great and did not make me feel uncomfortable. And finally a huge thank you to the receptionist for doing your very best to manage my wild child so I could talk to the doctors.

Altho I was nervous coming in, The nurse who assisted the Dr. was excellent and caring. She provided support without even asking! Dr Massengil was professional and talked and explained throughout the short procedure. He is the best and staff and office work like a 'well oiled wheel".
