Jennifer L. Stone, PT

Jennifer Stone, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Englewood, OH. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Ohio University in Athens, OH in 2020. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2015.

Jennifer specializes in sports physical therapy and treats post-operative knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle surgery patients, those with sprains/strain, fractures, and ligamentous/muscle tears. Techniques and treatments may include dry needling, cupping, blood flow restriction, Kinesio taping, and injury prevention.
Jennifer also specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and treats patients with urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder. Techniques and treatments may include biofeedback, pressure control training, bladder retraining, internal/external manual therapy techniques, and pelvic floor strength/neuromuscular training.
Jen first became passionate about physical therapy after she became injured while running cross country and track. As a result of three intense bouts of physical therapy, she pursued and became a Doctor in Physical Therapy, specializing with runners. While also involved in treating on the sports, neuro, and pelvic floor teams, Jen's focus is to rehab all runners and has experience from recreational runners to an Olympian. Jen currently is the lead at Miami Valley Hospital North for the running team, on multiple multidisciplinary teams, participates in outreach running events (Marathons, track meets, etc) while providing education to local schools. She also is an instructor in the Miami Valley Hospital North Parkinson outreach program and is certified in Herman & Wallace Level 1, PWR! and LSVT BIG, dry needling, and blood flow restriction therapy. Jen is currently returning to running herself with plans to train for a marathon.
