Jesse Ehrnschwender, PT is a Physical Therapist in Lebanon, OH. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy in 2003 and his Bachelor of Rehabilitation Sciences in 2002, both from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Delhi, OH.
Jesse specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and treats patients with joint pain, sprains/strains, and performs running evaluations. Techniques and treatments may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and running gait analysis.
Jesse also specializes in vestibular physical therapy and treats patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vertigo, peripheral vestibulopathy, dizziness, and concussion. Techniques and treatments may include canalith repositioning, gaze stabilization exercises, habituation exercises, and balance training.
In general, Jesse practices with a focus on movement-based physical therapy. He completed movement system training at Washington University in Saint Louis via continuing education courses in 2011, 2013 and 2016. He is intentional in delivering care consistent with a bio-psycho-social model of pain, supported by the current best evidence in pain research.
Jesse has an interest in hypermobility and enjoys participating in the care of people with hypermobility related issues. He has presented continuing education to physical therapists on this topic and attended the Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation Conference in 2012.
Jesse is a member of the Vestibular and Concussion Specialty Team at Premier Health and began regularly seeing patients with dizziness in 2014 after completing training in vestibular rehabilitation. Jesse became certified in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance (AIB-CON/VR) in 2018. He has presented continuing education to physical therapists on Vestibular Rehabilitation through the Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) in 2018. Jesse is a credentialed ImPACT® Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) trained in the rehabilitation and treatment of patients recovering from a concussion or patients diagnosed with a concussion. He became an ITPT in 2019 and was certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation II on Advanced Vestibular topics by the American Institute of Balance in 2021.
As a physical therapist, Jesse has a long-standing professional interest in cycling, swimming, and running. He enjoys working together with endurance athletes to keep them doing what they love and to help them improve. Jesse is a lifelong recreational runner and cyclist.
Jesse is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor to Student Physical Therapists.
