Katelyn Knick, PT

Katelyn Burk, PT is a Physical Therapist in Huber Heights, OH. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA in 2025. Katelyn  received her  Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs, CO in 2022.  

Katelyn specializes in neurologic physical therapy and treats patients with Parkinson's disease, stroke, brain injury, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and multiple sclerosis (MS). Techniques and treatments may include Parkinson's Wellness Recovery (PWR!), neurological re-education, cognitive treatment, gait training, and balance executive function.

Katelyn specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with gait dysfunction, balance dysfunction, and generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, Kinesio taping, and postural training.

Katelyn also specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and treats patients with joint pain, back pain, sprains/strains, fractures, and patients who are post-operative surgery. Techniques and treatments may include cupping, manual therapy, blood flow restriction, therapeutic exercise, and myofascial or joint mobilization.

Katelyn became interested in physical therapy early on in her life due to her passion for helping others and her interest in the human body and anatomy. She seeks to actively serve others and provide quality care that best works with individual needs and interests.

During her time in PT school, she developed an interest in working with individuals with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, Multiple, Sclerosis, strokes, brain tumors, and much more. She has worked with individuals with these conditions through her clinical rotations and now as a clinician. She has her certification in Parkinson's PWR to better inform her care and is seeking to actively learn more to better understand and work with this population. She is also very comfortable with and enjoys working with patients with various orthopedic conditions.
