Kevin M. Sheehan, PT

Kevin Sheehan, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Beavercreek, OH. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton (UD) in Dayton, OH in 2013. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wright State University in Dayton, OH in 2010. Kevin is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at UD where he is the Advanced Therapy Module Coordinator, teaches Pharmacology, and helps support the Orthopedics curriculum. Kevin has also begun research on running gait retraining strategies at UD. Kevin is a credentialed clinical instructor for the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and he has his Master Dry Needling Level 1 Certification.
Kevin specializes in running physical therapy and performs running evaluations for patients. Techniques and treatments may include biomechanical assessment, shoe recommendations, specialized running training, and manual therapy.
Kevin specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and treats patients with sprains/strains and joint pain. Techniques and treatments may include dry needling, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and running gait analysis.
Kevin's passion for physical therapy was born out of a passion for running. Kevin is the Team Lead for the Running Performance Team at Premier Health, continues to practice physical therapy at Miami Valley Hospital -Beavercreek focusing on Running Analysis, and has developed and presented several continuing education courses on running analysis and treatment. Kevin ran cross country and track and field at Wayne High School and at Wright State University. He continues to race marathons at a recreational level, completing 19 marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
Kevin lives in Fairborn with his wife, Kim and children, Ethan and Lilah.
