Leeanne Cottle, DPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist providing compassionate, evidence-based care in Englewood, OH. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan–Flint in 2008 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, in 2002.
Leeanne has experience in neurologic physical therapy, specializing in the treatment of patients affected by stroke, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury. Her treatment approach may include neurological re-education, gait training, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) training, wheelchair evaluations, and use of an unweighting rail system. She is passionate about helping patients regain function, independence, and quality of life following complex neurologic conditions.
In addition to her neurologic expertise, Leeanne specializes in orthopedic physical therapy, treating patients with post-operative conditions, fractures, sprains and strains, back pain, and joint pain. Her treatment techniques may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, myofascial and joint mobilization, Kinesio taping, and postural training.
Leeanne also provides general outpatient physical therapy, caring for individuals with amputations, gait and balance dysfunction, and generalized weakness. She takes an individualized approach to care, focusing on improving strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional performance to help patients safely return to daily activities.
Outside of the clinic, Leeanne is an active member of a local running group and enjoys staying physically active. She has completed multiple endurance events, including the Indy Mini Half Marathon (2016), Rock ’n’ Roll Nashville Half Marathon (2017), Flying Pig Half Marathon (2018, 2022, 2023), Queen Bee Half Marathon (2018), Ragnar Kentucky Trail (2022), and Ragnar Bourbon Chase (2023). She plans to complete the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon in 2027.
