I felt everything was explained to me

The staff is always pleasant and they greet you right as you walk in. This was my first time with this physician and he is great! He's very nice and takes his time to listen to you and explain everything. He had a resident with him who was also nice as was the nurse and X-ray tech.

I wish I would have asked another question and gotten his exercise tips in a video or something. Just to get legs stronger to avoid surgery

Dr Okafor listens, is patient and caring.

The person scheduling me for treatment from another doctor in the practice initially misread the instructions for that next treatment. I said that wasn't what I had understood from the doctor, and she read it again and the instructions were clarified to what I was expecting.

Dr Okafor was extremely polite, knowledgeable to my situation, he listened to me, and then thoroughly explained the pros in the cons of all the different options. He did a physical exam instead of having his face in a computer while I talked. I could tell he had read my case and been prepared to meet with me. He is extremely intelligent, personable, and that instills confidence in me with him as a doctor. He did not want to rush into anything and explained exactly what we would start with to give me relief which would begin immediately and then weigh all of our options and meet together again as he set time to consider my very complex, non-routine, high risk situation. I felt heard from a physician who was it watching the clock and pushing me out the door. I appreciated his empathy and compassion for me and my situation as he spoke the truth , yet offered hope. I have prayed for a doctor too see me and hear me. I found that in Dr. Okafor.

My surgeon is a kind and skilled doctor. I trust him and would recommend him to everyone I know.

Thought Okafor was great explained everything very clearly. The only disappointment was the MA who called me from the reception area. Since I was a little unsteady on the walker in the new surroundings, I was hoping she would focus a little more on my safety. Instead she looked away talking to someone else.

Dr Okofor is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Dr Okafor performed my hip replacement surgery 3 months ago. Under his treatment and guidance, I am now walking great and looking forward to doing all the physical activities I did before my hip issues. I am very pleased with Dr Okafor and his staff at Premier Orthopedics and I highly recommend them!

The procedure went well, I was disappointed in the way my treatment was handled AFTER surgery. I believe that's mostly due doc misunderstandings about sickle cell. When I say doc I do not mean Okafor! He wa smh surgeon not the doc who tended to me post surgery. Okafor is a great man & doctor, without him I don't believe I would've had surgery. He's kind, nice, positive, & very good at what he does. He's a great asset to premier! The doc who cared for me post surgery was ok I just don't believe he understands sickle cell very well. Although there's many people who still do not understand how to care for a sickle cell patient. Though I thought after having surgery he'd be more considerate of my pain level, especially seeing how bad my lab work was looking. The day nurse during my surgery stay was down right rude, uncaring, & bitter individual. Glad I don't have to see her ever again. She single handily ruin my experience post surgery & is the primary reason I left AMA! Her comment about she doesn't work HVAC was just a smart ass remark that was uncalled for & walking out in the middle of me talking (no yelling) along with not bringing meds when I asked & needed them, topped off by not relaying the info I express to her to the next shift was just a vindictive move to cause me to suffer unnecessarily. Obviously the nurse is not a hvac tech. I would like to forget that part so I will leave it at that. Again no complaints about Okafor, he just plain awesome!!!!

There aren't enough words to describe the great care I have gotten from Dr. Okafor and his staff! Wish more in the medical field would take not a page, but a whole book, on how to take care of their patients!! Saying they are doing a great job is an understatement!
