Everything was fine

I was an anxious and worried patient when I first came to this office. The doctor and her staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. I felt she knew what I was experiencing and would restore my health - which she did. She has since continued to provide care and encouragement as I've aged. I am very grateful for her expertise.

Pleasant office staff

It is a pleasure to go to this office. Everyone there is very pleasant and the office runs very efficiently. The provider is very competent, is friendly and is interested in her patients.

Dr. Maria is wonderful. Very professional but very friendly and warm. She is knowledgeable, and I am very confident I am in good hands.

I tried to explain a side effect of the infusion medication I had using it in the past. The Doctor claimed this was not a side effect of the medication. On the way out the door, I am handed paperwork listing side effects, and the one I mentioned was clearly listed on the sheet.

Dr Maria Thomas-John is extremely knowledgeable as well as personable. She was thorough in my exam and did not rush my appointment. She was precise in her plan of moving forward with my treatment. I am very pleased to have her as my rheumatologist.

Although I responded well to my medication, my provider never did explain the risks of taking the Alendronate, my PCP brought this up with me. I did receive good news that I responded well to the medication and can stop the medication and follow up in 2 years

The receptionist was able to explain how to add a provider on MyChart. I very much appreciate the help, and the friendliness in this office.

The Provider led with a treatment plan that was solely focused on a Rx. She did not ask questions or "consult" with me. She did not offer any non-medicinal treatment. I was disappointed in my visit. I will be asking for an alternative provider to address my condition / osteoporosis. Additionally, her office is not very inviting. I strongly suggest moving the visitor/patient chairs to be more conversational.

Everyone is always courteous and very helpful. The doctor takes her time checks all of my joints and ask you know how I'm feeling and if there's anything she can do to help me. The doctor provides recommendations for things that will make my RA better.

Dr. Thomas-John is incredible. I just saw her for my first appointment, and she actually read my charts!! She went over all my labs, symptoms, diagnoses and knew them all for the appointment. She changed my medications and ordered labs and I'm already feeling better. 10/10

I gave the test question a "yes mostly" rating, simply because they didn't have to tell me how to get my test results. I've had routine blood tests for years, and know to use MyChart to view results. I wanted to clarify as I am totally satisfied with this physician and her staff.

I love this doctor and her staff, they have become like family to me!

Everything went well. The doctor explained the blood test results, and I had good results. The time in the office seeing the doctor was only about 15 minutes. She was on time for my appointment.

I love this office and this provider so much I changed insurances last year in order to stay with them. The office staff is outstanding, empathetic and kind, and Dr Thomas-John herself is probably my best and definitely my favorite doctor. I have actually recommended her and her office to all my family and friends.

My provider was very attentive. She listened to what I had to say and supported what I wanted to do. She was also delighted that I have lose 32 pounds and am no longer taking diabetes medication, and I've also been taken off of my restless leg medication.

Friendly & Knowledgeable Staff all around!!

Since this was our first introduction, it was a good experience. I want to follow my new primary care's suggestions so I went to Dr. Thomas-John because of osteoporosis. I can't say too much more other than she and her staff were nice and explained everything. Now I have to follow instructions and see how I do!

While we appreciated Dr. Thomas Johns knowledge and help with our moms rheumatoid, she was wildly inappropriate with venting her political views in a rant during our visit. We appreciate her obvious frustration but felt she should keep her views to herself.

I felt this was an appointment that was really not needed. The doctor spent all of 5 minutes in the room with me to ask if I was doing ok and then set up an appointment for an infusion. Why can't the appointment include the infusion? It used to and you only had to make one trip.

Doctor is very knowledgeable & pleasant. I had hoped for a conversation/discussion about treatment options rather than being directed toward a specific predetermined therapy. Appointment felt as if I was being "told & directed" rather than as an active participant in decision process. Tests were ordered which have already completed for other practitioners which would have duplicated them unnecessarily.

I have never had a doctor take me straight to their office instead of a treatment room. And we just sat and talked and she told me what was going on with my test that I took answered all my questions and I just feel like she is very, very honest

I am not too sure about having the reclast infusions since there are several side effects from them. Doctor believes they will help build bone and guard against fractures.

I've read complaints about Dr. Thomas-John and her staff. I simply cannot relate to those complaints. Every visit has been excellent. Some of the complaints were so unbelievably petty and over-the-top arrogant it was shocking ("They wanted me to wear a mask." Seriously? People were fighting Covid-19). Dr. Thomas-John and her staff are outstanding and I highly recommend her practice to anyone.
