Matthew A. Dorweiler, MD

Dr. Dorweiler is always honest and blunt with me about my health and failure to follow up on my health in the past. Even still, he takes care of me and gets me the treatment to keep me moving despite a demanding work schedule. After dealing with primary care doctors in the past who brushed aside injuries and gave me aspirin to "get better soon", Dr. Dorweiler cuts to the point, identifies the problem, and is blunt about the solution and my part in the solution.

Dr. Dorweiler was fabulous, he sat down with me, answered all my questions, and was very authentic in his communication. The team is fabulous, efficient.

Dr. Dorweiler was extremely professional and a pleasure to talk with. He never made me feel like I was taking up his time. He answered all my questions or concerns and listen intently to every detail that I told him.

Dr. Matthew Dorweiler was amazing. His bedside manner was truly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a few options for treatment and we decided on the best course of action. I've had nothing but great experiences at Miami Valley Hospital South. The wait time from check-in to x-ray was less than five minutes and my wait time to see the doctor was less than five minutes. That's truly remarkable.

My wife and I appreciate the time he takes to listen and respond to our questions.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. From initial referral to assessment and x-rays to treatment plan to treatment delivery took 8 days. This was unheard of with all the other 4 clinical groups that I am involved. This is how our medical system should work, but unfortunately, it has not been my experiences in the last four years of multiple health issues. Thank you)

Even though the scheduled surgery may not happen due to my medical conditions I had prior to accident. I do know that Dr. Dorweiler will be there for my injury and do whatever can be done in a safe manner as to acknowledge the complexity of my medical needs. Staff always leaves my wife and I feeling that they are there for us.

Great bedside manner

This was one of the best office visits I have had. They were very efficient. I did not have to wait for x-rays - they were completed shortly after I arrived. I also did not have to sit and wait for the doctor. He came into the exam room within a couple of minutes. He looked at the x-rays and did a physical exam of my shoulder. I given a thorough explanation of my condition and a plan of action. Very happy with my treatment today.

Dr. Dorweiler is fantastic. I had a follow up with him today for rotator cuff surgery, and he noticed I was limping. I had a near miss accident with an out of control bicycle rider nearly hitting me and hurt my knee when I jumped out of the way. Dr. Dorweiler took the extra time to examine my knee, fit me for a brace, and gave me a steroid shot. I'm getting ready to leave for vacation and can't begin to express my gratitude for the completely unexpected attention!

Thorough explanation of all test results in terms I could understand. Made treatment recommendations based purely on my need, not to keep me as a long term patient! Emphatically encouraged me to call if I had any questions or needed additional treatment.

Dr. Dorweiler is very easy to talk to and a very good listener. He did my knee surgery in 2023, the entire process went very well. I look forward to my next visit with him.

That was my first time visiting this Dr. He was great!!! I was in and out right away!. The staff especially the lady (i think the nurse)who brought me back and prepped me was very very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I'm blown away by how fast I was in and out! This made my whole day off work better! I wasn't at the Dr. all morning. I was in and out of the whole building within 20min.

Office staff is amazing

From walking in & being welcomed to the nurses & Dr's; I know that I'm being perfectly taken care of! Dr. Dorweiler is the best! He fixed my shoulder & then made the best statement concerning my neck. Another Dr. wanted to only do Botox shots & he said "I think it's best we find out what's wrong before just masking the issue". WOW...I'm so impressed & lucky he snt me for an MRI because I need surgery to repair my neck! Thank you so much Dr. Dorweiler!
