Overall it was a good experience

It was a followup visit. I really liked Matthew...so professional and answered all my questions.

Everyone was very helpful and provided me sufficient information about my condition and what tests they recommended

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful as we were held up by construction.

I don't always get my concerns addresses in a timely fashion and there are three layers between me and my cardiologist, which makes communications difficult. I posed some issues on side effects from medications on MyChart such as bleeding of legs, scabs, constipation and BP that were not addressed to my satisfaction.

I appreciate the time taken to work through a complicated situation with my care.

I gave the rating of 6 because it's always a long wait to be seen. I arrive 15-20 minutes early and I always seem to wait 15-30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. It's very frustrating.

My annual appointment with Dr. Kelzer went very well. I welcomed the med student to my appointment. The doctor was thorough and he went through my EKG results so I could easily understand the results. He discussed the need for a statin drug to lower my cholesterol and the various options for me. I have already used most of the statins on the market today and it's tough to find one that doesn't have side effects. He discussed the importance of finding one that works for me. I appreciated the information.

He seems very knowledgeable and caring. My mom and I thought he did excellent job since I have such a complicated medical problems.

Great experience with the doctor. Not sure the timing for the test required is soon enough.

I have memory difficulty and may need to ask better questions. I seem to have a fair understanding of my conditions and i will look up the medical terms in my visit summary. I am reasonably satisfied with my care providers. I hope to return in 6 months to see my progress i am treating my condition and am continuing to improve my diet and exercise programs.

These cardioogists are wonderful and I will keep returning. My only concern is how late they run with appointments, any where from 1/2 hour to 2 1/2 hours

I appreciated the doctor's discussion about my medication change and positive results. It really helps to get feedback about how the medication can help mitigate future health problems - very informative.

He explained any questions I asked. Made sure my heart meds were being taken and any refills or new script needed to be ordered. He was very thorough which I am very thankful. He has a med or pa student that he asked if she could listen to my heart. I thought was a very good idea, just like student teachers in a classroom.

He took the time to listen and was very kind. Even though I know he was busy, he made me feel more comfortable with my care. He didn't rush me or dismiss my concerns. I truly appreciate that part the most.

I would like to request cost reduction when I see a the doctors practitioner. I believe they charged me for the specialist costs but saw the practitioner. He seems to be quite knowledgeable but I am paying for the heart doctors costs so I think those costs should be adjusted to reflect that.
