Completely satisfied!

I came in with a complex tear of my Medina meniscus. I recently had an MRI and was referred to go see an orthopedic doctor. When I came, I was told they didn't have my MRI scans so if they needed them, I would need to come and bring them to them. Was never told to bring them, so I said okay. In the next 10-15 of my appt, I feel belittled, stupid and fluffed off. He said he didn't even have my scans to look at what was wrong. (So how can you give me professional advice without seeing what was wrong and having all the information) Pretty much was told, that my pain really wasn't there, that I should never have listen to the ER doc instructions, my own doc instructions of not putting pressure on it, not to drive and to wear a full leg braces. That there instructions was stupid. Was told to lose weight and work through the pain. There was no how are things going, what are you able to do, what are you trying to do, etc I was told not to use my knee as my CB as possible to after a month I was very stiff and he made me feel like that was my fault for not feeling better. They took one look at me and made a judgement. I left in tears thinking I was a fat cow who wasted time and that no one cares and I must be the crazy one who has turned my life upside down along with my family. I have never felt that way before and it literally broke me. I am ready for physically therapy...ready to feel better but was afraid to try on my own in case I hurt it more. I am reaching out to my own doc and thinking about getting a second opinion. It's already hard for me to trust doctors and feel comfortable me around them...so I'm debating if I want to even get a second opinion. I don't want to and can't emotionally take another doc treating that way. I never want to see this man or go to his office ever again!

I felt very knowledgeable and confident with the physician's skill level, his method of communicating the steps of the intricate surgery, the upcoming procedural expectations and the competence of his office staff.

The Resident was willing to Talk with me; Doctor L. was less willing so I ceased asking him questions even though I am making slow, to no, progress despite 5 months (20 hours) of physical therapy. It was a disappointing consultation.

Great experience with everyone from the reception area to the nurse to the resident to the doctor!

I've had two knee replacements done, and I totally trust the staff and doctors. Not thrilled about having my left knee replaced after just over 1 year, but I understand stuff happens, and I trust Dr. Lawless to make it right.

Very courteous staff and I was in and out in a reasonable period of time. My health issue was discussed and procedure performed to my satisfaction.

Dr Lawless and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Sandy is especially pleasant. This Dr and his staff are the best example of how medical professionals should be. A 10 is not high enough in my opinion. I am very very happy with all of them!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Lawless. He did a complete knee replacement. He agreed to do even though I already had it done two years ago. He has excellent bed side manners. He was a great choice.

Dr Lawless and his staff are amazing.

I would have liked the physician to actually review my MRI image and radiology report with me. Also, it took weeks to get the MRI and then back in to see the physician. As a result, my condition had changed/resolved in its own to a large degree. Sooner appointment for MRI and follow up with physician would have helped. Because I had no feeedback I remained totally inactive longer than was necessary or ideal.

Dr. Lawless listened to how I was injured and was observing my gait from the moment he walked in. He explained what he was doing and why, and also explained the results of the x-ray in detail. I was extremely happy with how he explained what exercises I should do and why they would help. I would recommend Dr. Lawless.

I am thankful for everyone and I wouldn't want to see any other Orthopedic Doctor. Thank you.

I was impressed with the time I got there and time they called me back. My appointment was at 10:40 I arrived before the time allotted for me. I was treated very soon after that time. and was leaving at 11:25 all done.

I was very pleased . Only negative us I called and left a message about pain medication . No one ever called me back .

Overall, a most pleasant experience, considering the particular circumstances that were occuring. I fully intend to continue using this doctor and the staff as they were exceptionally helpful with attempting to help this old guy understand what was going on and what should be done to deal with the situation.

Doctor Lawless did an outstanding job. Im very happy after 3 weeks, top notch health care.

I always trust Dr. Lawless' diagnosis and opinions. I don't even live in the area anymore, but made sure to schedule an appt w/him while in town for the holidays so I could get a better understanding of what's going on with my knee.

Good job

Whoever I saw first was kind and explained a lot, but Lawless did not. He said I had a "click in my knee" (didn't explain that at all) and told me to do the exact opposite of the guy before and the people at urgent care. I was told by his colleague and urgent care I had a torn meniscus and to avoid doing what lawless told me to do. He also was laughing my whole visit? Not sure what that was about. Just didn't seem to take anything seriously and felt like he did not believe me. Getting a second opinion for sure

I had knee injections for arthritis and the pain is gone! We talked about a range of options for treating my arthritis and the shots were a good start. I had lots of questions and all were adequately answered.

Very nice staff

I was being told that I had a spraing knee it could take up to a year to heel. Then I needed to go back where I went the first time because something did not feel right. Xray, CTScan, now I have a fracture Tibia. I made appt.with Dr. Lawless thank God I did. I just have arthritis flareup that's it. Nothing is broken. God Bless Dr. Lawless, I just love him. He is a wonderful Doctor at what he does and I trust him.

Great experience, treatment was explained and initiated and I appreciate being able to begin with some rather simple remedies. The resident did an EXCELLENT job of explaining my condition and it was reinforced by Dr. Lawless.

So far everything is fine

Seen on time. Friendly but professional and efficient. Treatment offered has been effective (thus far) and in line with my expectations. Osteoarthritis, although not fun, was a better diagnosis than what I had feared (not wanting surgery, if possible).

Was beside myself that no one notified me that the X-ray showed 2 broken screws in my thigh ! I found them later at home in my chart Was very disappointed No mention or direction given

I do believe that when several doctors have worked on the same patient with different issues they should both be aware of how they are related and also this would help with the patient (person) who is dealing with issues. This doctor is great.....another doctor not so much....

My appointment was almost three weeks from when I called in, but with summer vacations and busy work schedules ,maybe it was longer to see this surgeon. When I went to my appointment I was pleased with their concern ,time and attentiveness to my problem.

He had everything decided when he came in. without even talking to me or doing an exam. I usually get good Doctors their. but I think I will be looking else-wear next time.

Dr. Lawless told me the surgery suggested by another surgeon would not benefit me due to the type of injury I had. Instead he gave me an injection and a script for PT. Saved me from an unnecessary surgery. Appreciate his ethical considerations and openness during our discussions.
