Ask Pal if anything needs explained more thoroughly. Explain how to use med, was it a capsule, a cream, an oral Pill etc. What to expect, Side effects, etc.

Every initial appointment I have had with Dr Palmisano has been rescheduled by her. She failed to ask me about refills for 2 prescriptions and now I have to call to get them. During my appointment I mentioned a possible move to another state and she gave suggestions about renting an air b and b rather for 3 months than renting a home which I thought was inappropriate. She should be addressing my physical concerns and not give financial or living advice. Mentioning a possible move by us to her was a big mistake on my part. I won't do that again!

I very much appreciated the time the Dr. spent with me. It was our first time meeting which is always a little stressful but she was so personable and did not seem to be in any rush. She talked through a few questions I had, provided options and advice, and was just overall caring. My only complaint is I wish the check-out person utilized the side of the desk that is behind the door. I had a few questions about scheduling an IUD placement & my insurance benefits but it felt like everyone in the wide open waiting room was overhearing the conversation. This was my first visit to this location that is combined with another practice and it doesn't seem very private like the MV South office which has it's own waiting room so at least only the other OB/GYN patients are overhearing and not random men there for blood work or their primary dr appointments.

Dr. P is absolutely AMAZING!! So thankful for her and to be in her care!

Dr. Palmisano was very personable and easy to talk to. She took the time she needed and did not rush through the appointment. I felt like she cared for me as a person and listened to my concerns.

The front desk staff( who was not wearing glasses) was not very nice and she asked my name, I told her 2-3 times, seemed like she didn't hear or whatever, if she has hard of hearing, she should get hearing aids, instead having patients/ customers to tell thierynames and birthday loudly in the waiting area, as it's considered to be personal identification. Dr.Mercedes was great as always but long waiting time ,appointment time 10.45am and I saw doctor almost 11.30am.

Going in for my Nexplanon implant but was unaware of any rules I needed to follow beforehand. Got lidocaine injected into my arm before any questions were asked and then wasn't able to get the implant due to poor communication from the doctor

Dr. Palmisano is a great physician. She makes every appointment very comfortable and smooth. She answers every question clearly and explains things in an easy to understand manner. However, when I called the office a a few weeks before my appointment to potentially reschedule due to a work conflict, the receptionist who answered the phone was not very kind to me. She was unfriendly when I asked about appointment availability in the upcoming two months. It did not appear that she actually looked in the system for available appointments, rather told me immediately there were none and did not provide any alternative solutions or assistance. I was not impressed with this service over the phone. However, my experience with Dr. Palmisano was wonderful and I will continue seeing her.
