Dr. Ruff and the staff at sure care Springboro are exceptional.

Dr Ruff discussed issues beyond what I was expecting for this "check up" visit. He suggested a test that I wasn't expecting, and explained in great detail what the reasons were for the test, what to expect, etc...even addressing what i should expect from insurance coverage, etc. I appreciate the extra time and attention he gave to cover all these details. Particularly I want to note that he arranged for the afore-mentioned test, as well some lab work, to be done during THIS appointment, instead of requiring return visits, which is what typically has happened in other past experiences with other providers. I might add that, considering the test turned out positive in my case, I left feeling exceptionally good about the results of today's overall appointment!!! Thanks!!!

Dr Ruff is always focused on the patient and very thoughtful in his responses and recommendations. He doesn't jump to prescribing something or referring you elsewhere but isn't hesitant to do either if appropriate.

The medical assistant is taking blood pressure incorrectly. The patient should be sitting in a chair with feet flat on the floor and back supported. It should not be taken with the patient sitting on the examining bench with their feet dangling and no back support. This does not give an accurate reading

I appreciated his careful, conservative approach regarding routine tests in that some were likely not necessary. We were given the reasons why a prior test was no longer recommended.

My visit was for diagnosis of a UTI. Dr. Ruff has prescribed a medication to be used for seven days as well as be sure I keep hydrated. He obviously cautioned that I should get back to him if there are any further issues along the way.

Why can't I get my blood work done at the office like I used to ? Instead of having to go to another place ?

When I went online to schedule an appointment the first suggested appointment was about 3 weeks out. I had sinusitis and needed to get in more quickly than that. I called the office and somebody called me back that same day and was able to get me an appointment the following day.
