Narayan S Peddanna, MD

Narayan S. Peddanna, MD is a board-certified gastroenterologist with extensive clinical experience caring for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He is committed to delivering high-quality care by providing comprehensive services in one setting, with a focus on patient satisfaction and effective outcomes.

Dr. Peddanna completed his medical education at Bellary Medical College and Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Peddanna has clinical interests across all gastrointestinal diseases and liver disease, including advanced endoscopic diagnosis and treatment. His procedural experience includes upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, Bravo pH testing, PEG tube placement, esophageal dilation, variceal banding, ERCP, and radiofrequency ablation.

His professional interests include patient care, clinical procedures, and research, and he finds great satisfaction in treating patients and contributing to colon cancer prevention and reduction. Dr. Peddanna has held academic appointments, including Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and has been actively involved in teaching and research throughout his career.

Dr. Peddanna is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
