Rachel L. Hutton, PT

Rachel Hutton, PT is a Physical Therapist located in Kettering, OH. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH in 2021. Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wright State University in Dayton, OH in 2018.  

Rachel specializes in lymphedema and cancer physical therapy and treats patients with head and neck lymphedema, upper extremity lymphedema, lower extremity lymphedema, and fatigue, weakness, or pain that impact fitness and overall well-being. Techniques and treatments may include manual lymph drainage, therapeutic exercise, garment measuring, and complex decongestive therapy.

Rachel specializes in running physical therapy and treats patients with sprains/strains, sacroiliac (SI) joint pain, and performs running evaluations. Techniques and treatments may include biomechanical assessment, manual therapy, and Kinesio taping.

Rachel also specializes in general outpatient physical therapy and treats patients with gait dysfunction, balance dysfunction, and generalized weakness. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, postural training, and Kinesio taping.

Rachel wanted to become a physical therapist in order to help others optimize their way of living and get them back to doing what they enjoy. She recently became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in order to better treat and serve her Oncology and Lymphedema patients. 

Rachel enjoys being active in any way, especially if it includes being outdoors. She played collegiate volleyball at Wright State University and played several other sports in high school. She currently runs recreationally along with having participated in several half marathons.
