Dr. Jit earned his medical degree from Punjabi University at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in Faridkot, Punjab, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Wright State University, where he gained advanced training in the evaluation and management of complex gastrointestinal and liver disorders.

He is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jit serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
