Ramya Vajapey, MD, is a graduate of Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. She went on to complete a fellowship in Electrophysiology at Stanford University in Stanford, CA. Dr. Vajapey is board certified in Electrophysiology by the American Board Internal Medicine. Dr. Vajapey is cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of heart rhythm disorders. Her expertise includes managing and performing procedures for conditions such as atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, heart block, and sinus node dysfunction. She is skilled in treating complex conditions including atrial fibrillation (AFib), atrial flutter, and ventricular tachycardia.
Dr. Vajapey performs a wide range of procedures, including the implantation of leadless pacemakers, transvenous pacemakers, and subcutaneous defibrillators. She also performs a variety of ablation procedures for conditions like supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), and atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.

I loved the way she did NOT talk down to me. She explained everything so I would grasp what the next steps are and what I can do as well. She was patient and listened to me and my wife ask questions about my condition, even pulled up pictures on the computer to show it in a clear way.

They have you step on a scale; however, they don't care if you keep your coat on, etc. What benefit is the weighing. Also, when they measured my blood pressure they didn't care if I kept a heavy long sleeved jacket on. Everything I have read about measuring blood pressure requires the cuff be in contact with your arm, and you have been sitting quietly for about 10 minutes.

Dr. Vajapey was great. My only suggestion would be for her to break down technical medical terminology a little more for the lay person. She did provide helpful clarification when asked. Her demeanor was great and she clearly knows what she's talking about. Her confidence brought me and my mother (the patient) confidence. God bless her, and you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
