Shauna C. Smith, FNP

Shauna Smith, FNP‑C, is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing patient‑centered, comprehensive care for individuals and families. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Shauna is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Shauna has a special interest in family practice and values caring for patients across the lifespan. Her philosophy of care is grounded in addressing the whole person—recognizing the physical, emotional, social, and cultural factors that influence health. She believes effective healthcare goes beyond treating symptoms and focuses on building meaningful partnerships with patients to support prevention, wellness, and the management of acute and chronic conditions.

Shauna chose family practice for the opportunity to build long‑term, trusting relationships with patients and their families while providing continuity of care through every stage of life. She brings a wide range of clinical experience to her practice, including 14 years as a nephrology nurse in both outpatient and acute dialysis settings, as well as 1.5 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in urgent care.

Outside of her professional life, Shauna enjoys spending time with family, reading, and gardening.
