As a trans guy, I've had some bad experiences at another women's health clinic. I was dreading this appointment and put it off for a couple years. But this was a great experience, start to end! I wish this didn't require saying, but I appreciate that the receptionist didn't assume I was someone's husband, or make it weird and transphobic. She was friendly, quick, helpful, approachable and accurate. I like that the waiting room is shared with cardiology, so that I didn't stick out so much. I didn't have to stress about anybody staring. Nursing staff was great, put me at relative ease. Didn't skip important questions by making assumptions, but instead she respectfully asked straight forward questions about things like pregnancy and periods. Random note: the data entry system didn't have "metoidioplasty" as a surgery option in the drop down box. Thanks for letting me meet the doctor BEFORE the vulnerability of a gown lol. And I appreciate that I never once felt rushed at any step. I really like the doctor! I feel like she really heard me, and she was so helpful. What a fantastic active lister! She answered all my questions in an easy to understand way. She made me feel safe, talked me through everything, checked in with me, and showed care for my comfort. I will be seeing her next time! I already recommended this provider to my partner.

This provider acted like I was wasting her time and she would rather have been anywhere else. She was NOT personable, she never smiled or showed any emotion on her face. It was very off-putting and did NOT build rapport. I will NOT be coming back.

I arrived early for my appointment, was taken back right away, and seen right away. I felt like Dr. Emmerling listened to my health concerns and followed through on each one of them. Very thankful for the care and experience of this provider.

Dr. Emmerling is amazing. She's always listened to me and made me feel like I was heard. She doesn't beat around the bush on things and doesn't try to convince you of something other than what you're feeling. She is worth the drive I make every time.

I moved here a few years ago and had to find a new Gynecologist after having the same wonderful OB/GYN for 25+ years. I found Dr. Emmerling on my 3rd try of looking for a Gynecologist and I am so glad I found her. I never expected to find a provider that would be as kind and attentive as my prior Gynecologist.

It was my first visit and I loved that the doctor sat down with me and got to know me and discuss the questions/concerns I had. I felt welcomed and heard.

Dr. Emmerling is fantastic! Her presence is calming and she does a great job of listening and explaining options.

I know it's a women's health place really but maybe we could use more gender inclusive language? Instead of saying "the woman" you can say "the patient"

Everyone was very pleasant. And the doctor was amazing.

I was really shocked at Dr. Emmerlings ability to listen and come up with solutions. I know it's very bare minimum, but as a bigger person it's nice to hear a solution that isn't solely focused on my weight.

Dr. Emmerling is awesome! She's very kind and always cares about how my life is going even outside of my reason for my visit. She listens to what I need to tell her and always makes sure I don't have any other questions. She does a great job!

My appointment was at 9:30 am. I came in early because I was a new patient to that office. The medical assistant took me back right away. My provider came in shortly afterwards. My exam was complete promptly and I walked out at 9:28am. Very good quality of care. I would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Emmerling is the absolute best! She always listens and explains everything. You couldn't ask for a more amazing doctor in this field of medicine. I've never been to an OBGYN who has made me feel as comfortable as her.

Dr. Emmerling is professional and personable, two much-needed attributes in medical professionals. I like how she is partnering with me to determine why I am having the issues I am having. The medical assistance may have been new as she did not get a urine test before my exam which resulted in me having to drink a lot of water to provide urine. When that happens the sample is diluted and I'm not sure that the result are as accurate as what they could have been. In additon, she wrote down the wrong phone number for central scheduling necessitating that I call the office for the correct number. Yet, she is young and possibly new in her job and we've all been there. Some encouragement and feedback may be in order here. Thank you.
