Easy and quick appointment. Dr. Heck is very personable and listened to my concerns and gave options.

i see a lot of doctors, because of a medical condition I have. Dr. Heck is one of my favorites.

Very friendly nice doctor

Dr. Heck told me I needed to have a reflector inserted and have my lumpectomy after that but it wasn't clear if I needed to schedule those appointments or if they would call me to schedule. I called the office the next day and the scheduler said that the clinical staff would call me back but I didn't hear from them. Other than that everything was great.

Make sure to tell patients to proceed to check out. Some offices have the tech come back in. I had to ask someone in hallway.

My husband is hard of hearing and every one was patient and helpful to make sure he was catching everything. This is a new experience for me and everyone was so helpful in helping me understand and ease my worries.

The doctor made me feel very comfortable, he was explaining my condition as a professional doctor but also making sure at the same time that I was comprehending as a patient, our conversation was easy and not with dread but clear facts about my condition and what I can expect from the procedure that we chose.left his office feeling confidence.

Dr. Heck was so kind and patient with me. He helped me weigh the discussions for surgery. I had very little pain after surgery and I think the scar will be minimal.

I have been going to The James and was never shown a chart that showed my risk of developing breast cancer. After looking at family history, Dr. Heck provided me with the risk factors and determined that one test I was getting is not necessary. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions and concerns.

I really liked being able to schedule an appointment on line. It made it quick and easy. I have had follow up phone calls from the office which were helpful and reassuring.

I have such gratitude for Dr.Heck! It is inpart due to his excellent care and skill Nd follow up I am living Brest Cancer free..I can not thank him enough! Dr. Heck is a wonderful surgeon. He doesn't alarm you but he tells you like it is. His staff is very good also, very helpful and friendly.

I had the best treatment by Dr. Heck and his staff in 2020 and so I have returned again in 2025. I had breast cancer in my left breast in 2020 and now in my right breast 2025. They always are so kind an caring and answer any questions and get me scheduled when needed. So happy to go to them for treatment.

Dr. Heck is a wonderful physician: smart, kind, and able to explain things so that I don't have to be a physician to understand what he says. He makes going for a appointment something positive, even when he had to explain to me about my cancer and surgery last year. His office staff is always kind, helpful, polite, and cheerful on the phone or in person. My wait time is always minimal. I'm so glad he is my doctor!

I was very happy with the doctor and his staff. They were all very friendly, thorough, and skilled. Plans were made for future treatment, and I am completely confident that my treatment will accomplish everything I want it to.

This was a positive experience in a scary situation. Dr Heck was clear at the beginning of the appointment that there was no malignancy. Then he explained all the unfamiliar terms in the biopsy report to expain. The staff was friendly and even gave a little cheer when I came out and told them I didn't need a followup. Really appreciated the atmosphere in the office which was calm and upbeat.

I never have had any problem or issue with this provider or office.

Building elevator may be new, but it is very difficult. Arrived at lobby floor on its way down, but I didn't get on because I was going up. Then elevator didn't stop at lobby level on way up!
