Wendy specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and treats patients with urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum, pelvic organ prolapse, and endometriosis. Techniques and treatments may include pelvic floor strength/neuromuscular training, internal/external manual therapy techniques, nervous system downregulation, behavior modification, and bladder retraining.
Wendy specializes in cancer physical therapy and treats patients with fatigue, weakness, or pain that impact fitness and overall well-being. Techniques and treatments may include therapeutic exercise.
Wendy has had a long career as a Physical Therapist working with women in all stages and phases of life. She enjoys working with prenatal/postpartum moms, helping those with pelvic health issues including incontinence and urgency, and pelvic pain. Wendy has experience as a childbirth educator, trained as a doula and infant massage teacher and was nominated for educator of the year. Her passion to help this population encouraged her to help start and grow the Premier Health Pelvic Health program. Wendy also enjoys orthopedic and oncology patients as well. She truly feels that she learns something every day from each and every one of her patients and coworkers. She loves that on any given day, she can help change the world in a positive way in all that she does. Wendy strives to make her patients feel that they are a part of being able to do the same for themselves.
