About The Provider
Zarifa Mamatova, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ohio University in Athens, OH. Zarifa is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Zarifa has a special interest in family medicine and provides care for a wide range of health needs. Her clinical focus includes chronic disease management—such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, GERD, hypothyroidism, and hyperlipidemia—as well as mental health support for conditions including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She also offers preventive care and wellness physicals, acute illness management, medication management, and select in-office procedures.
She practices with a holistic approach, emphasizing disease prevention, health promotion, and individualized care to support overall well-being. Zarifa values building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and believes in listening, educating, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. She chose family medicine because it allows her to address both preventive care and chronic disease management while making a tangible, positive impact on her patients’ quality of life.
Zarifa has been recognized for her dedication to nursing through a DAISY Award Nomination for Extraordinary Nurses and is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of work, Zarifa enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active, traveling, cooking, and focusing on personal growth and overall well-being.

This was my first time with Zarifa and she was AWESOME! very thorough, asked lots of questions, answered all of my questions, even went over the results from my latest blood tests. she was very careful about prescribing for my current condition while keeping my diabetes in mind. I really liked her!

This was my first time seeing her. What I liked was that she listened to me and addressed my concerns and issues. She seemed to be on the more conservative side, which I like. She also has a sense of humor, which is huge to me. So yes, I would definitely recommend her to my friends and I will definitely be coming back.
